GREETINGS!

if you're reading this, i'm assuming that you came after seeing adam's latest blog. and i admit. i've not blogged a lot lately. and i should blog more. and most of what is here is about napping, girls and food. because, well... those are my three favourite things. music shows up a lot too.

so. home from work. i'll spend twelve hours underground tomorrow. beating the living hell out of my body. and i'll love every minute of it. i'll let you know how it turns out.

today, it became incediby apparent to me that i'm moving in three and a half weeks. holy shit. in less than a month, i'm going to be a californian. for six months, at least. i am in no way ready for this move. i need to start "deep cleaning" the apartment so i can get out of here without a lot of bitching. it's the nice thing about living in gov't housing, no deposit, but you've got to leave the place spotless. which brings me to another thing. my asshole landlord from mississippi never sent me my deposit back. dirty bastard. and i cleand the living hell out of that place. all that work for nothing.

so. look around. i hope you like what you see. if so, tell me: reece@gwtc.net

al dente....

isn't it funny how your tastes change as you get older.

as i was pulling noodles from the pot today to test for their firmness, i recalled how, to me, al dente used to mean "not done." now, the thought of mushy pasta is damned near repulsive. i am, however eating angel hair, which i detest, but someone gave it to me, so i couldn't refuse. plus, i'm out of fettucine.

and it's definitely not just tastes in food that have changed. i am attracted to different women. the girls that i've dated in the last few years (all 3 of them in the last six...) are girls that i wouldn't have given a second look in earlier days.

yup. haven't blogged since the grammys, despite the best of intentions. but.... one of the regulars over at TNI has said something to spark me to return to the blog.

no matter what you (the imaginary person who reads this blog) will think of me for this, i have to admit that i spent the money, and bought two girls gone wild dvds. these specific items (sort of) were mentioned recently by grant and, having never seen mardi gras, or a florida spring break first hand, i must admit that they were worth the money. and.... all of the friends that i've admitted the purchase to, females included, have asked me to tape them and send a copy.

what does this say about our society? one thing.

it likes boobs.
